What our staff say…

  • I've been with Hatzfeld for 14 years, starting as a night-time carer at 18 and now serving as Deputy Manager. Hatzfeld has supported my growth in healthcare with unwavering commitment. The organisation prioritises employee well-being with perks like annual bonuses, on-site meals, and team outings, fostering a culture of appreciation and belonging. It's not just a workplace; it's a family, from staff to residents to our beloved animals. Hatzfeld is where I belong.

  • Since July 2023, I've served as Deputy Manager at Hatzfeld. Recently, I applied for and was offered a position at Willowgarth, a sister home. I've received excellent support from the management team, particularly the registered manager, who is always available for personal or professional assistance. Training opportunities are abundant, and I'm eager to progress within the company, knowing I'll have support. At Hatzfeld, we prioritise residents' independence through daily life skills activities, and it's fulfilling to be part of a team making a difference. Plus, the company offers great incentives that make us feel appreciated.

  • Since joining The Park in June 2018 as a part-time housekeeper, I've transitioned into caring and later trained as a Senior Medication Coordinator, thoroughly enjoying my role. During my husband's battle with cancer and subsequent depression, The Park's management team, led by Yvonne, Zoe, Katie, and Toni, displayed extraordinary kindness by regularly checking in on us. Despite occasional disagreements, their unwavering support was unmatched. At 62, having worked since age 15, I've never experienced such compassion from an employer. Hatzfeld Care LTD's generosity and exceptional management team leave me deeply grateful.

  • After a 12-year break, I learned of a job opening at The Park Residential Home. Despite lacking experience in mental health, I applied and joined on August 14, 2021. Initially challenging, I quickly found my place within the team. Within a year, I formed strong bonds with residents and colleagues. Recognised by a senior, I underwent training and became a senior staff member in December 2022. Further training led me to become fully trained in medication management. Nearly three years later, I'm grateful for the fulfilling work alongside a supportive staff and management team at The Park.

  • I have worked for Hatzfeld House for 15 years; I started my career as a housekeeper as my children were young, and the hours worked with school hours. Jessica has supported me over the years to develop my career, and I have worked in many job roles within the home. I was encouraged to complete my NVQ 2 and NVQ 3 in care, and I have just completed my Level 3 in Team leading, which Jessica encouraged and supported me to complete, and now I work as a care coordinator. Hatzfeld, as a company, have consistently shown appreciation for the work staff do with rewards, meals out, monthly treats, and vouchers at Christmas. I cannot imagine working anywhere else.

  • I enjoy my job at Hatzfeld, Willowgarth, and I am always supported by staff and management when needed. I am praised a lot for my work at Willowgarth, and I have a perfect relationship with many residents who feel they can talk to me whenever needed. I appreciate and enjoy the activities here at Willowgarth, which help build more extensive team relationships. I hope to progress here and am excited to see where the future goes.

  • For 14 years, I've been the Housekeeper at Willowgarth, a role filled with challenges and rewards. What I cherish most is the daily sense of making a difference in our clients' well-being; if I can't achieve that, I haven't done my job right. We cater to diverse client groups, keeping our work interesting. My main focus is maintaining a clean, homely environment, fostering independence, and supporting daily needs. Willowgarth feels like an extended family, with supportive staff and management who are always there to help. I hope to continue here until retirement, as nowhere else could offer the same job satisfaction and passion.

  • I've been with Hatzfeld for almost two years, and it's been a transformative experience. At Hatzfeld House, I felt immediately welcomed and valued, becoming part of a supportive family-like team. The benefits are numerous, including paid online training, provided meals during shifts, and bonuses like Christmas meals and birthday gifts. I see myself staying with Hatzfeld until retirement; despite the occasional tough day, the good ones far outweigh them.

  • Working at Willowgarth has been fantastic. It's a home where both residents and staff are treated with kindness and care. Management ensures staff's mental well-being, fostering a positive environment that benefits everyone. The home prioritises staff welfare and has a strong stance against abuse and discrimination. What sets Willowgarth apart is how the staff and residents form a close-knit family, looking out for each other and creating a wonderful atmosphere. It's truly a fantastic place to be.

  • I joined Hatzfeld about eight months ago, transitioning from construction and major food retailing to a role in a community pharmacy, where I progressed from sales to Pharmacy dispenser. Now, as a Medication Coordinator here, I handle administering medicines, monthly drug orders, and resident health documentation. My focus is always on our service users, whom I've grown close to like family surprisingly quickly. At Hatzfeld, I feel valued and respected, with my opinions mattering in decision-making. The team feels like an extended family, supporting each other wholeheartedly. I highly recommend Hatzfeld as a compassionate company that values its employees. Despite its growth, it maintains a family-like atmosphere, with warm and approachable management that upholds dignity, respect, and confidentiality. Working here is truly a pleasure.
